Processes and Enhancements
Guest Speaker - Mr. Spencer Pidgeon
Please join us for an informative presentation and discussion of
the BGE Smart Energy Savers Program™.
Our speaker will be Mr. Spencer Pidgeon of ICF. Mr.
Pidgeon is a Lighting Certified (LC) professional with ten years
of lighting and energy-efficiency experience in the commercial,
industrial, educational, healthcare and municipal sectors. Mr.
Pidgeon is experienced in the design and retrofit of
energy-efficient lighting, occupancy and daylight controls and
compliance with IESNA standards. Over the past three years, Mr.
Pidgeon has performed lighting design engineering for hundreds
of clients, including dozens of Fortune 500 customers. Mr.
Pidgeon has supervised a team of lighting professionals in a
variety of design and retrofit projects and is experienced with
data gathering and site auditing. Mr. Pidgeon has also provided
technical writing services by composing various compliance,
operational and system manuals for former employers and clients.
This presentation will piggyback off of last November’s meeting
when ICF discussed the BGE Smart Energy. The speaker will
focus this presentation on recent enhancements to the program,
lessons learned, and offer some clarification for those who have
questions regarding the program. Since the program’s inception
ICF has simplified the application forms and processes,
developed comprehensive tracks, rolled out Retrocommissioning
and Technical Services programs, and are expecting more
enhancements to come.
This is the last meeting before the summer break and the meeting
when we will have the election of officers. We have decided to
hold this month's meeting at Snyder's Willow Grove Restaurant
because of the availability of a a private banquet room that
can accommodate at larger than normal attendance. This
month will also provide you with a sit down dinner of either a
King Cut of Prime Rib or Crab Cake Dinner both of which are
excellent.

Systems will be sponsoring the "Cocktail/Registration Hour"
portion of the meeting. Representatives of
Constellation Energy will at the meeting. Please grab a beverage, stop
by to talk with them and thank them for their support. Those who attended last
month's meeting will recall how great it was to be able to see
old friend and meet some new ones.
ELECTION OF THE EXECUTIVE BOARD: At this
time, this is the slate of candidates who have expressed
interest in running for President, Vice-President, Treasurer and Secretary.
We are still looking for interested members to run for offices.
